Affiliate disclosure
The plain-English version of how this site makes money.
The short version: some links on this site are affiliate links, including Amazon links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it never changes what we recommend.
The details
- Worth the Buck is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
- Prices aren't shown as live quotes. We describe price ranges ("typically $20–40") because prices change constantly — always check the current price on the retailer's page.
- Buy buttons and product links on our guides are affiliate links unless marked otherwise. They're how the site pays for itself.
What we will never do
- Accept payment for a ranking, placement, or verdict
- Change a "not worth it" to a "worth it" because of commission rates
- Hide the fact that a link earns us money
The proof is our skip list — a whole page of verdicts that earn us nothing.
